Checked and found engine had overheated. Check for code's and found code for stuk thermostat also notice engine had a rough idle. Tried to pressure test coolant system and found coolant leak from cracked and damaged outlet at back of cylinder head. Completed replacement of both thermostat and outlet. After replacement pressure tested coolant system and notice pressure was going down but nothing leaking on the ground. Removed spark plugs and found coolant in number 1 and 4 cylinder from damage of overheating. Needs engine
THERMOSTAT &/OR GASKET – Remove & Replace
COOLANT HOUSING &/OR OUTLET – Remove & Replace
AFTER REPLACEMENT OF THERMOSTAT AND INLET HOUSINGS TO REPAIR LEAK AND CODE FOR THERMOSTAT, UNABLE TO PERFORM BLOCK TEST DUE TO COOLANT ERUPTING FROM RADIATOR UPON START UP, INDICATING ENGINE DAMAGE. REMOVED SPARK PLUGS AND APPLIED SYSTEM PRESSURE TO COOLING SYSTEM FOR 1 HOUR. CAMERA INSPECTION INTO CYLINDERS 1 AND 4 REVEAL COOLANT INSIDE COMBUSTION CHAMBERS. ENGINE DAMAGED MOST COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION IS ENGINE REPLACEMENT.

Driver side a/c temp= 63° Passenger side a/c temp = 46° High side = 160 psi Low side = 13 psi Recovered 493 grams R134a P0480: Fan 1 control circuit P0532: A/C refrigerant pressure sensor A circuit low Verified fan operation using a scan tool. Recommend replacing the a/c pressure switch and rechecking.
Replaced swtich and recharged system revealing a restriction in the a/c system, recommend replacing the expansion valve and rechecking
Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with R-134. Test system performance. Add dye if necessary.
EVAPORATOR EXPANSION VALVE – Remove & Replace – [DOES NOT include Air Conditioning System recover, evacuate and/or recharge.]
Accessed, removed and replaced the a/c expansion valve (warranty item). Recharged the a/c system with 480 grams r134a. High side = 200psi Low side = 20psi vent temperature = 39°F from all vents. The system is now operating as designed.

CABIN AIR FILTER – Remove & Replace
CUSTOMER CONCERN / STATES: HEARS A RUBBING OR WHIRLING SOUND NOISE WHEN TURNING FROM THE FRONT WHEN TURNING. GOES AWAY WHEN STRAIGHT JUST HAD REAR BRAKES DONE 2 WEEKS AGO AND TOOK IT BACK TO THEM. THEY STATED FRONT BEARINGS ARE GOING OUT.
After replacement of both front hub bearing assemblies, test drive was performed and upon final torque found damage to left front axle thread/spline. Replaced left front axle at n/c , customer satisfaction. Final test drive verifies bearing noise no longer exists.
